#UEFAChampionsLeague2018 Predictions

Champions league matches have reached one of the most interesting stages as the quarter final are underway. It is indeed for the champions.

The quarter finals have three Spanish clubs: Barcelona, Sevilla, and Real Madrid, two Italian Clubs: Juventus and Roma; two English clubs: Manchester City and Liverpool, while Bayern Munich are the only German Club.

Here are our predictions for the matches:

Barcelona Vs Roma

The first leg is scheduled for 4 April, while second leg will be April 10, 2018. The two clubs have met before in UEFA competition: Barcelona won 1, Roma won one while they drew two times.

Research shows that the most recent encounter came in the 2015/16 group stage, with Barcelona winning 6-1 in the Camp Nou with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez both scoring twice.

We are giving the April 4 first leg match to Barcelona. Barcelona will be playing at home, as such they will like to create a good gap before playing away.

Though Eusebio Di Francesco’s side will try to prove the world wrong since everyone seems to be predicting that A.S Roma would be an easy ride for Barcelona.

Ernesto Valverde too will want his name in Barca book of achievement. This will be one of his major matches for the club since he took over from Luis Enrique May 29, 2017.

Sevilla Vs Bayern München (Kick off time: 7:45PM)

Sevilla will be hosting Bayern Munchen in the 1st leg of April 3rd, while the 2nd leg will be April 11.

Research shows that the two clubs have never met before in UEFA competition.
Bayern, German side, have lost on their last five trips to Spain; Sevilla, a Spanish club, have never lost at home to visitors from Germany. Bayern will have to play beyond record to over write that record.

Though Sevilla overcame German opposition in four of their five UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League-winning campaigns.

With these Sevilla record, it may be difficult to say who wins, but a winner will emerge after the second leg between the two strong teams.
