Charlyboy’s daughter (Adaeze Oputa) wedding: Photos

Nigeria’s most controversial entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charlyboy, has given out his first daughter, Adaeze Oputa, in marriage to Mr Metu Anu.

The duo, who is from Imo Sate, tied the knot at a traditional wedding held at the Bride father’s home, situated on CharlyBoy Boulevard in Gwarimpa, Abuja, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The marriage rite was followed by a reception at Evelyn Event Centre, which was flooded with top-notch in the entertainment industry and political heavyweights.

Among whom are the former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwezili, former Minister of Youth and Sport, Idi Hong,  Former Chairman of NECO, Former Chairman Governing Board NECO, Paddy Njoku, Nollywood actors  Nkem Owoh (Osofia ), and Bruno among  others.

Veteran Nollywood actors Francis Duru and Nkem Owoh were the Masters of Ceremony.

“It is a thing of joy and pride for a father to see his daughter get married, and I wish them well as they begin a new journey together.

“I advise them to build friendship and deeper love for each other as husband and wife,” the elated father Charlyboy told newsmen.

Born Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa in 19 June 1951, Charlyboy is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, television presenter, publisher, and producer.
