Mercy Aigbe launches drama school to inspire young upcoming talent

Popular Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe has launched a drama school. Aigbe’s film school is named, “Mercy Aigbe Gentry School of Drama.” MAG School of Drama for short.
MAG during the launch said she was unveiling her acting and movie making institute in order to give back to the society and inspire young people in pursuit of their acting career.
Mercy Aigbe isn’t the only artiste with a drama or acting institute. Popular female dancer Kaffy has a dancing school. While a legendary movie maker, Tunde Kelani, on February 26, 2016 marked his 68th birthday with Mainframe Film and Media Institute.

Mercy Aigbe-Gentry was born on January 1, 1979 in Edo State, Nigeria. She is the second child of a family of five.


She attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where she received her OND in financial Studies before proceeding to the University of Lagos for a degree in theatre arts.
