FedPoly Offa 2018/2019 ND, HND Application Guide

Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, has officially opened its portal for full and part time programmes for 2018/2019 academic session.

According to source from the institution, the application portal was opened May 6, 2018 for candidates interested in National and Higher National Diploma Programmes.

Infobase.com.ng also found out that an official announcement has been published on the official website of the polytechnic.

If you’re interested in either the ND or HND form , follow below application process:

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Online

Note:

All interested candidate are to scan and upload the following documents after making payment: o level result, OND testimonial/statement of result, birth certificate, local government identification. All will be upload on school portal

Step 1:
To apply online for HND (FT), Part-Time ND and HND programmes, candidates are to visit this Polytechnic portal: www.fpo.edu.ng

Step 2:
click on admission on top of the page, and click on APPLY NOW from the drop down menu.

Step 3:
Click on “Click here for admission” which takes you to the the application form page, fill application form by selecting the programme you’re applying for, select your previous field of study.

Step 4:
You’ll be taken to the REMITA Payment Page, you’ll be charged N500 as transaction fee, meaning N15,500 will be deducted from your account.

Step 5:
Select your payment type I.e type of card : verve, MasterCard etc. And click on pay.

Step 6:
Fill your card details and click SUBMIT.
Print your payment receipt, and proceed to upload the required documents listed above to complete your application

All candidates will be duly informed of the screening date through either their phone and/or e-mail address.

Application Closing Date: 24th August, 2018.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR Higher National Diploma (HND)
The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are as follow:

1. Candidates are required to Possess National Diploma (ND), National Innovative Diploma (NID) in their chosen programme at not a grade below LOWER CREDIT classification from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic, Monotechnic or Innovation Enterprise Institutions.

SSC, GCE O’level with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language & Mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

2. The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit level pass in a trade plus four relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics.

4. Candidates are required to have at least one year post National Diploma Industrial Training experience.

Every applicant for the Polytechnic HND Programme who did not obtain his/her ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa are required to forward a copy of his/her National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar.

Part time programme:

A. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) PART-TIME
The under listed two (2) years of six (6) semesters Part-Time programmes leading to the award of National Diploma are available.
