Jennifer Ibhade Larayetan: If There Was No Death

(Last Updated On: March 4, 2018)

If there’s no death, Jennifer Ibhade Larayetan would be one of the most beautiful ladies that would be radiating the world with her captivating smiles.

But…

She heard “a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”-Revelation 14:13 ESV

As a student, you were a friend to all; as a singer, your voice was enough to calm the wind whirl violence.

As friend, you were open-minded; as a woman, you were a real mother to your three young kids left behind.

If only there’s no death!

Jennifer Ibhade Larayetan came and finally conquered as she shall die no more, even though family friends you left behind will continue to relate with your ever-glowing memories.

Your early departure to join our Lord Jesus is a testimony that you do not belong here, so as every living soul, you belong to the Lord,”For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.”-Romans 14:8 ESV

As you’re lowered into the earth today March 3, 2018, it shows us that your citizenship is in heaven, “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”-Philippians 3:20-21

If there was no death, JennyCoco Clothing owned and managed by you would have been another household name in clothing industry in Nigeria and Africa.
If there was no death, you would have heard your beaitiful twin call ‘Mum’ just like your son did before you bid this world bye-bye.

If there was no death, your big dream would have become bigger, and your bigger vision become the biggest.

Your fellow friends miss you, Great-Mind 60, Mass Communication 2009/2010, University of Benin, misses you, but we’ve taken solace in our Lord and creator as we’ve taken our consolation from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18:

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

Jennifer Ibhade Larayetan lives on even in the face of DEATH.

Good night, Jenny.
