Peter ‘Mr. P’ Signs International Solo Deal with Empire

Peter Okoye, Mr. P. for short, has thrown what transpired between him and his brothers behind him as he has just signed an international solo deal with Empire, an American-based record label.

Less than two weeks he officially announced his break away from his former group, PSquare, Mr. P. was elated in one of the signing photos he shared with his followers on Instagram.

We hope to see the deal materializing to some great in the days ahead.

Empire is an American distribution company and record label based in San Francisco, California with offices in New York City and Atlanta. Founded in 2010 by Ghazi Shami, it has released albums in the genres of hip hop, R&B, reggae, rock, gospel, Latin, Country and pop.

It’d be recalled that Peter Okoye on September 25 ceased to be member of P square, a group made up of his twin brother, Paul, managed by their brother.

The letter reads: “What I am about to do has been a very difficult decision to make. I have decided to use this medium to terminate the agreement between Psquare.

“Me and my wife have been getting life threatening messages and I fear for my life and the life of my family. Remember Jude has threatened to kill me and shoot my wife in the presence of Paul and Mrs Imoke…”

We wish Peter best of luck as he continues to shine at the international scene.
