N-power today on its social media channels clarify the issue surrounding the delivery of N-power Tablet Devices to the first set of 200, 000 beneficiaries of the programme.
8 tablet devices are expected to be delivered.
On July 2, 2017, N-power released Expected Date of Delivery of the devices as follows:
- AfriOne 2-in-1: July 15
- RLG Tablet: July 21
- Samsung Tab E: July 27
- Floss Signatures: July 27
- Zinox Zpad: July 27
- Brian Npower iPad: August 15
- SpeedStar: August 31
- Techno Pad: August 31
The EED heightened the anxiety of beneficiaries, which to this clearification.
The statement read:
“Many people have been asking about devices, some have asked because they are excited, some others have just been rude and accusatory.
Now you all know the Federal Government of Nigeria entered into an Asset Finance Agreement with the Bank of Industry to provide devices. There are 8 vendors preapproved by the Bank of Industry to deliver those devices.
Some of those vendors have delivered their devices, some other vendors have not.
Some of the vendors that have delivered have delivered just a percentage and will be delivering the remaining shortly.

Now for the devices that have been delivered, a team is currently pre-loading each device with over one million resources which includes videos, textbooks, and so much more.
The network providers giving the free one year internet will also take a stab at the devices.
