What is SIP in Nigeria?

SIP means Social Investment Programme. It is Buhari’s intervention programme aimed at addressing some of the problems facing Nigeria so as to reduce poverty and hunger.

SIP has four MAJOR areas:

1. N-Power to engage unemployed Nigerian youths. It has already engaged 200,000 people.

2. HGSFP means Home-Grown School Feeding Programme.

3. CCT that is   Conditional Cash Transfer

4. GEEP is Government Enterprises Entrepreneurship Programme.

N-power has gulped more money than all other programmes combined.

HGSFP:#7.092 billion


GEEP:#7.301 billion
