Borno South Senatorial District protest against Ndume’s suspension

The people of Borno South Senatorial District on Tuesday thronged the main gate of National Assembly in Abuja to protest against the suspension of Senator Ali Ndume.

Ndume was the former majority leader.

According to Punch On-line, the protesters were made up of Internally Displaced Persons and Borno indigens in Abuja.

They declared that Ndume’s suspension was fair, saying Borno South people had lost their voice.

Ndume was suspended following his call for the chamber to investigate the degree scandal involving Senator Dino Melaye.
