Ile-Ife Yoruba-Hausa clash: OAUTHC populated with casualties
The Emergency Ward Unit of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) is seriously battling with the number of casualties from clash between Hausas and Yorubas in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State.
A registered nurse at the hospital complex who spoke on condition of anonymity said, the chief medical director of the hospital has directed that the emergency ward be locked, “because all the available beds, spaces have all been taken.”
Nurses and medical doctors at the unit are having busy hours attending to victims of the deadly clash so as to safe their lives.
