Last Update: March 10, 2017 (0903AM)
President Muhammadu Buhari today Friday, March 10, 2017 arrived Nigeria almost 50 days after medical leave in London.
Arrival time: 7:41AM
He was received by Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Bala Bantex, GOC 1 Division, Commissioner of Police and other dignitaries at the Kaduna Airport. He’s already in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Where was President Buhari?
Mr. President was in London, where his medical team was attending to him. He didn’t appeared on national TV up till this moment he arrived.
But his “close” associates paid him visit in London. He had also spoken to select state governors on telephone.
He’s said to be in Abuja House, London
When will President Buhari return to Nigeria?
Yes, that was the question everyone was asking until today his presidential Jet touched the Kaduna International Airport.
No one could specifically say when President Buhari would return to the country. The letter he sent to the National Assembly didn’t state when to expect him either.
The good part is that his seat wasn’t vacant. He democratically followed the due process by constitutionally handing over power to his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Osinbajo has been the president in acting capacity since the departure of his boss to London for a medical break.
