N-Power programme begins verification, assessment of applications

  • N-Power Social Investment Programme commences verification and Assessment of applications

The Federal Government’s N-Power social investments programme, an initiative of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, has commenced verification and assessment of tens of thousands of Nigerians that applied for the programme.

npower-shortlistFG rolled out applications for the programme on June 12, 2016 and ended on August 31, 2016. It was speculated that millions of unemployed Nigerians applied for 600,000 vacancies announced by the government.

No date has been stated specifically as the official release of names of shortlisted candidate, it however promised it’d get in touch with applicants as soon as the verification were completed.

“We appeal to all applicants to be patient during this process. The N-Power programme team will be in touch regarding assessment and eventual enrolment.”

N-Power team assured applicants that information as regards shortlisted candidates and other useful information concerning the social investment programme would be made available on the official portal, “Information will be available on this websites   (https://portal.npower.gov.ng/apply/) and on the N-Power social media platforms on Twitter and Facebook,” the official statement said.

The N-Power programme team said applicants were free to make inquiries in case they had concerns on info@npower.gov.ng

What is document verification?

This is an online system that allows N-Power team to compare applicants’ identifying information they submitted during application process.

What N-Power Initiative applicants need to do while the verification and assessment is going on

This means that applicants do not need to worry about anything. Applicants will be contacted after the verification process. The verification process isn’t physical at the moment, it’s online.

N-Power team has promised to keep applicants updates about further update about the programme.

So, don’t allow anyone dupe you. Don’t give money to anyone for verification because the Federal Government and N-Power Team have made it clear that application and recruitment is totally free.
